The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) calls for schools that have Title I schools to hold an a meeting for parents for the purpose of providing information and an opportunity for input on Title I activities. We will have our Title I parent meeting today, September 24, 2025 at 5:30pm in the CHS Library.
At the meeting we will go over the following agenda items:

School-Parent Compact/Student Handbook
Parent Involvement Policy
Parent Right to Know
Teacher Qualifications and 4-Week Notice of Teacher not qualified/certified
Curriculum Used and Interventions
Student Achievement and Academic Growth
Plan for Parent Engagement Title I Funds

La Ley de Éxito para Todos los Estudiantes (ESSA) exige que las escuelas con programas de Título I celebren una reunión para padres con el fin de brindar información y brindarles la oportunidad de participar en las actividades del Título I. Tendremos nuestra reunión de padres del Título I hoy, 24 de septiembre de 2025 a las 5:30 p.m. en la biblioteca de CHS.

GAME UPDATE!
The game tomorrow, Friday September 12 against Del Norte HS, will start at 5:30pm, instead of the previously scheduled 7pm. This is to try and avoid the potential weather that may occur after that time.
Again, tomorrow's football game will start at 5:30pm!

Reminder! All students must have required vaccines or an approved exemption to attend school. This is especially important for Pre-K, 7th, and 12th grade students. Free immunizations are available through SFPS, with walk-in clinics on July 25, July 30, and August 6.
