Congratulations to the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) students who placed at the HOSA State Leadership These students have also qualified for the HOSA International Leadership Conference this summer in Nashville Tennessee (June 21-26).
HOSA is a Career Technical Student Organization (CTSO) that promotes student leadership, community service, and hands-on technical experience in various healthcare-related fields. This student organization is an important tool that supports and promotes the Biomedical/ health science curriculum at Capital High School.
Students who join HOSA can compete in over 55 different healthcare-related events. During the State Leadership Conference (SLC) the first weekend in March students competed in their chosen events going head to head with other HOSA chapters from across the state. This competition is similar to the state competitions held in athletics.
